Pooja Gandhi got her Masters in Environmental Biotechnology from ARIBAS (Sardar Patel University) in 2013 and forayed into nanotechnology for a while, which was followed by a managing stint in the corporate world.
She started volunteering with VNC when she was doing her undergraduate study in 2008. She has actively participated in various projects. She loves the outdoors and used to volunteer as an environmental educator for children on their experiential programs.
She then joined VNC as a Project Coordinator in 2016, as she felt that being in nature was her true calling. She coordinated the Snakebite Mitigation Project, where her work included raising funds, initiating awareness programs, conducting a survey and managing a team of volunteers and interns. She also looks after the promotion activities and social media marketing for VNC. She also works as a technical writer for us helping us out for grants and proposal writing.
