I have a B.Sc. in Zoology from Maharaja Sayajiroa University, Baroda, and a master in Environmental Sciences from Sardar Patel University, Anand.

Currently I am Junior Research Fellow at the Gujarat Institute of desert Ecology (GUIDE), Bhuj, working on ecological study of birds of prey in the salt marsh ecosystem (Little Rann of Kachchh). My previous work at Voluntary Nature Conservancy (2016-2017) involved assessment of human-wildlife conflict and finding solutions for its mitigation. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working in the unique landscape of Kutch, both Greater and Little Rann, where I studied the endemic and endangered wild ass and Indian wolf, concerning their population, habitat assessment, and their interaction with humans.

My research interest includes population ecology, spatial ecology, habitat ecology, human-wildlife interaction, threat assessment, behaviour (ethology), social sciences, Citizen Science and GIS for effective conservation. Currently my work involve study about raptors assemblage, population and resource participant in salt marsh ecosystem of Kachchh.
