Rules & Guidelines for Greenathon

  • There will be two events namely ‘Green Charotar Run’ (1/4th Marathon) & ‘Burn Fat not Oil’ (Cyclathon) Entry charges for each is Rs.200/-
  • The 1/4thMarathon event is in five categories: A. Males (above 10 and below 18 yrs only.) B. Males (adults 18 yrs.+) C. Females (above 10 years and below 18 yrs only) D. Females (adults 18 yrs.+) E. Mature Citizens (all male / female above 40 years)
  • There will be only one category for Cyclathon, Boys & Girls under 18 (No Prize only acknowledgment ). All others can join joy ride.
  • There will be cash prizes and Trophy for 1st & 2nd position for all the five categories of 1/4th (running) Marathon.
  • In case of tie, the prize money will be divided among the claimants; no argument would be entertained upon the judgment.
  • Medals will be provided to all the successful participants who finish the marathon.
  • While event is open for all, only residents of Charotar & NRG’s with Charotar roots would qualify for the prize. Awardee may have to show residence proof.
  • Last date for registration will be 1st February 2018.
  • Kit has to be collected from VNC office on 7th, 8th & 9th February 2018, before 18:00. · Receipts have to be shown while collection of ‘Participant Kit’.
  • Reporting time: 06:30 am on Sunday 11th February 2018, participants reporting later than 06:45 would not be allowed.
  • Provided Chest number (original) (bib) has to be worn on chest (not on back) by all Participants during the entire event, failure to do so will disqualify you.
  • Cyclist must wear all safety equipment (Head gear/helmet), for self-protection.
  • Participants must pass through 6 check posts during the Greenathon. Failure to do so will lead to disqualification.
  • Prize distribution would be held at the ending point at 10:30 am, along with refreshments and entertainment program.
  • Participants are advised not to run on empty stomach and have to be medically fit.
  • Schools / colleges / institutes are suggested to ask their participants to wear similar or identical caps / logos. They can also carry slogans pertaining to event.
