6th Charotar Crocodile Count - 2019

Voluntary nature Conservancy (VNC) invites participants for the 6th Charotar crocodile count. Charotar is one of the very few of the places on earth where you can see the rare human-crocodile coexistence. Crocodiles here live in the village ponds, shared by villagers. What will you do and learn? 1) Well, you will have a first-hand experience of the crocodile population estimation, through day basking count method. 2) You will interact with the local communities to understand their relations with crocodiles. 3) Learn about crocodiles through presentation and interaction with crocodile experts. 4) Meet and interact with like-minded people who love crocodiles and want to protect them.Who can apply? Anybody who is above 18 years with a passion and love for nature is welcome to participate. Schedule for the Program: 4th (03:00 pm) -6th (05:00 pm) January 2019 How to be a part of this? Due to limited seats, participants will be selected based on their application. Upon your selection, you will be required to pay the registration fee of Rs.1200/-. This includes hands-on training, resource materials, meals, accommodation and T-shirt. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
